A guide on how best to use iC3tv

iC3tv is an on-demand television rostrum that allows you to watch programs when you want, how you want.

If you cannot resolve your problem, please do not give up. Contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

Select a Program to watch
In this drop-down menu you will find a list of programs. Simply choose the one you wish to see, then click on the ?Watch it Now? button.
Best viewing experience will be obtained by viewers with a broadband internet connection.
You will need:
Real Player - Click here  for the free latest version.
Windows Media Player - Click here for the free latest version.
You need to download and install these players. It will only take a few short moments and you will only have to do this once.
Your computer must be set to enable cookies with security settings set to medium. If you have a firewall, check that your settings allow for streaming videos.

Watching programs
Once you have clicked on the ?Watch it Now? button, it will take a few moments to load the program of your choice.
If you click on a program and nothing happens, make sure you have both of the players listed above installed. Make sure the versions are 9 or over. If it still does not work, try re-installing the players again.

If the programs are not running smoothly or keep stopping:
There are many reasons why this might occur.
If you are experiencing dropouts or glitches, try changing your connection speed to a lower setting. If you are unsure of your current speed connection, click on the ?RETEST? button.  This will automatically reconfigure to your ideal connection speed.
Your Bandwidth might be being used by
another application. If you are on a network, check if another computer on the network is engaged with another application.
Our servers may be unable to deliver the program to you as quickly as normal due to network congestion on your connection
If you are downloading a large file or your computer is using peer-to-peer applications, this may well prevent you from watching programs without interruptions. It is recommended that you ensure you are not using peer-to-peer applications, or downloading large files while watching iC3.

Volume
The sound is automatically set for the optimum performance, but if you would like to adjust your volume, it is best undertaken by going to your control panel and adjusting the sound level to your personal requirements.

Browsers
The minimum browser requirements needed to access iC3 services are:
- Netscape 5 and above.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and above.
Some browsers may block iC3 programs or some of its functions. Other browsers may appear to work, however iC3 is unable to guarantee their compatibility. To be certain of the best viewing experience install the latest browser. Internet Explorer and Netscape are the recommended browsers.

Pop-Ups.
If nothing happens when you click on a link it most likely because your ?Pop-up Blocker? is on.
Set your application to ?Allow pop-ups? or you can do this via your settings which allow pop-ups to be launched from iC3 pages
